Leah Randall Vest has been telling stories for as long as she can remember. Raised in New England, she grew up with three dreams: to write, to teach, and to become a mother. After winning a statewide short story contest in high school, life led her first into the classroom, where she has spent more than twenty years helping young readers and writers discover the power of words.
Armed with a master’s degree in reading instruction and curriculum, Leah is passionate about inspiring students to find their own voices, embrace creativity, and develop a lifelong love of reading. While teaching became her calling, the dream of becoming an author never faded.
Today, Leah lives in Missouri with her husband and their four children, balancing family life, teaching, and writing stories that reflect her lifelong belief in the transformative power of imagination.
